LH Solar was established in Canada in 2013 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Beijing Huaxin Liuhe Investment Co. Ltd., an internationally diversified investment company with interests in renewable energy, energy savings, and other environmentally progressive investments.  Huaxin Liuhe Investment Co. and its subsidiaries operate in China, Australia, Canada and the US with a focus on developing, owning and operating solar photovoltaic (PV) installations as well as component supply to the local solar PV industry.

Since entering the Canadian market LH Solar has grown rapidly having financed and completed of over 320 FIT and MicroFIT projects to date in Ontario, which it now owns and operates.  With the FIT programs coming to an end in 2017, LH Solar is now focused on growing its portfolio of Net Metering and LED Retrofit projects.
